Bug Safari

I technically am back to work (but only for 5 weeks).  My family is feeling the lack of the stay at home mom, especially the deficiency of fun and creativity.  Tonight we had some new fun.  I pulled out the Bug Safari center that I recently finished.  We geared up with net, binoculars, magnify glass, Safari hat, bug jar, and bug "map". 

Then the fun started.  We had to find all of the bugs in the room (of course the plastic kind). 

It was natural for her to use the magnify glass to identify each one.

 Miss.-2yr-old was very impressive when she was able to match the bug to the similar, but not exact looking bug on the "map". She completed both maps without any help.
